We use mackerel caught in the waters off the coast of Japan, carefully remove the head, tail and internal organs, and pack them into cans that fit the size of the can. We simmer them in a mixture of miso paste and sugar from Shinshu. They are easy and convenient to eat as a side dish for rice or as a snack with alcohol. Product contents: Mackerel, sugar, miso, salt, thickener (guar gum). Instructions: Store away from direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place.
