[Ingredients] Citric Acid: Cleaning
[Ingredients] Citric Acid
While citric acid is used as a food additive and is harmless from a food hygiene perspective, do not eat it or drink the hot water used during cleaning. For models with activated carbon cartridges, always remove the cartridge. Always start cleaning with cold water, never hot water. Do not fill the container with water above the full line. Do not open the lid during cleaning. In either case, the hot water may boil over and cause burns. When emptying or rinsing the container, avoid contact with the display buttons or electrical outlets. Discoloration inside the container caused by boiling or heat cannot be removed. Do not use for any other purpose. Once opened, do not store in direct sunlight, high temperatures, high humidity, or freezing. Using citric acid with chlorine-based products can release harmful chlorine gas, so do not mix with other detergents.
[Instructions and Uses] 1. Fill the container with water up to the full line, add one packet of the product, and mix. Close the lid, boil the water, and keep it warm for approximately 3 hours. If the stain is severe, keep it warm for 6 to 12 hours.
② Check that the stain is gone, turn off the power, and discard the hot water. If any stains remain, rub it off with a sponge or cloth.
③ Fill with new water, boil the water, pour out about a cup of hot water from the spout, and discard the remaining water.
④ If the stains are difficult to remove, clean it again with citric acid and keep it warm for 6 to 12 hours. Repeat ② and ③.
